Currently, sales tax must be collected on orders shipping to states where the online retailer is physically located. As such, A-1 Pools collects sales tax on orders shipping to the state of Wisconsin. A-1 Pools will add 5.6% sales tax to all Wisconsin orders and will remit these taxes to the state, county and local tax authorities as required.
For orders shipped to locations outside Wisconsin, sales tax is not collected by A-1 Pools, but may still be due in the state and municipality where the order is shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to report his/her taxable purchases to their tax authority and pay any sales & use tax due to that tax authority.
